Fantastic pilgrim related resource for the whole of the city of Santiago. Ivar decided to relocate his pilgrim friendly business here. He runs it as a shop/office/work studio/delivery point and luggage storage point. You can even take a walking pole (and sometimes other pilgrims items) from him without charge! I am impressed with what is stocked and what you can buy. This includes the Credential, pilgrim guidebooks and gear like Altus backpacks,Altus ponchos, buffs etc. In addition, a wide range of souvenirs and gifts from jewellery to maps of the Caminos de Santiago to the actual bronze scallop shells that adorn pilgrim streets and point the way. All of the stuff he stocks is available on his Pilgrim Forum Digital Shop and can be posted securely anywhere in the world. But the best is Ivar himself who is willing to give up some of his hectic schedule to talk to me and conversations with him are always uplifting. By the footfall he appears to be really popular which is not surprising to me given the longstanding success of his English speaking International Forum.

The services Ivar provides to pilgrims are a true blessing! It's been 7 years since my Camino. I am able to stay in the energy of the Camino by regularly checking in to the Camino Forum. And, of course, I was so grateful to have Ivar's services to ship ahead items I discovered I didn't need while I was walking. It was so easy and a huge relief to know I could store things safely until my arrival in Santiago. My most recent experience with Casa Ivar was to *finally* purchase one of the beautiful bronze way markers. It currently sits on my desk as a constant reminder to live what I learned on the Camino. I'm looking forward to getting back to Santiago and seeing the new home of Casa Ivar!

My husband and I walked the Camino del Norte in June and July 2023. On our second day of walking we realized that we were carrying too much stuff and we shipped a box ahead to Ivar. Excellent communication with him and easy pick up once we arrived in Santiago. Also ordered guide books from him prior to our Camino. Excellent service all around. And the forum he runs for pilgrims is fantastic. Highly recommended!

We sent a box from St Jean Pied de Port and it was collected easily and safely. The directions to the collection point were precise and our meeting very friendly. An improvement could be a pro-active e-mail confirming receipt and instructions/link about collection as we were unsure how and when to collect.

All the solutions/ advices you need for anything Camino related. I used the luggage deposite too for more than one month. Cheap, easy, safe.
